I visited the Flooring Centre

I visited the Flooring Centre in November 2017 to choose carpets, laminate flooring and vinyl flooring for my apartment. I explained to Denis the colour scheme of my house and what type of flooring I was looking for. He showed me a selection of different carpets, laminate and vinyl flooring solutions and helped me choose the right flooring within my budget.

Overall, the service I received at the Flooring Centre was very professional, fast and reliable. I would definitely recommend Flooring Centre to anyone.

We recently got our full hallway carpeted, top to bottom of house, and were very pleased with all aspects of the service from the Holloway Flooring Centre, who we chose after looking at carpets in a few different places – both independent shops and the larger chains. They were very helpful, and patient, when we were choosing carpets, and came to measure up and gave us a quote. We were also really impressed with the service on the day of fitting, they were very careful in checking all measurements and did a very careful, professional job. I’m very pleased that we chose to get our carpet there, as we have no complaints at all, and are really satisfied with the result. Thank you!

Thanks Dennis for the carpet fitting. Very professional from start to finish and pandered to my unusual taste even though it was tricky for him to order the carpet from outside the UK. What a difference the carpet makes as it brightens up the whole stairway. Denis showed great patience and professionalism and his range of Carpets is second to none. The customer service I received at this store from Dennis was fantastic and that is what made me return they had a huge range. I shopped around at other flooring stores, including the big stores and decided if Dennis could get me the same flooring and carpet I had seen at the same price I would give them my business and they did. My partner & I visited the flooring centre as we were looking to find a new carpet to furnish our bedroom. The store is clean and organised, we were impressed with the selection on offer. Dennis was helpful and took the time to understand our budget, style preference and requirements to help us pick the the perfect carpet for our new bedroom. The price was competitive and the quality was excellent. Delivery only took 3 days and was made sure to fit into our schedule. The whole process from start to finish was an easy, efficient and enjoyable one. I would recommend to friends and family, look forward to working with the flooring centre on my next home project.

Dennis and his team provided a great service from start to finish. Their selection of flooring is second to none, and their pricing competitive. Dennis was so helpful and responsive to all my questions and his team fitted the product beautifully in record time. The Moduleo flooring we chose has made a huge difference and I would heartily recommend it, it is lovely to look at, feels solid, hard wearing and great underfoot. All in all I can’t praise Dennis and his team to highly.

My New Flooring makes my house look like a SHOW HOME : )

I was looking to give my home a new lease of life so I went to see Dennis and his team who came highly recommended. With only a sample of my newly ordered headboard and vision board (courtesy of pinterest) Dennis and co were easily able to help me with selecting the perfect carpet to complete my vision. This was completely different from my previous experience in another store where I was overwhelmed with choice as the sales person could not grasp what I wanted and I did not know enough industry specific terminology to clearly explain what I wanted.

Dennis helped me by first showing me which colours would match my bed and vison, along with the options from ‘fluffiness’, making my final choice for the bedroom carpet quick and easy. Reassured by the wealth of knowledge, I was also able to select an amazing wooden flooring to brighten up my hallway and living area.

I placed my order and within no time my carpet and flooring had arrived and the team came and installed the flooring in only one day.
Then just like that my house was transformed! Everyone continues to compliment me on my flooring choice (even though I now have to have a strict no shoes rule)

Mr Dennis Porter is very helpful and professional. I went to the shop to choose my carpet and he did not pressure you to buy he allowed you time to make sure you choose the right carpet. He’s very knowledgeable about which carpet is best for each area. On the days of laying the carpet the fitters did an excellent job. I can recommend Flooring Centre.

Excellent experience

I was given a recommendation from a colleague at work as I mentioned that I was planning on getting new flooring. She suggested the shop and provided me the contact details. I contacted Dennis and the service was excellent and easy.

He was supportive when I explained the type/ colour of flooring I wanted. He was flexible of the date for it to be laid.

The fitter was great too, it was an overall good experience so far to date. I am constantly singing their praises.

My friend saw my flooring the day after and her words were ‘the workmanship is professional and beautiful’ and I have to agree.

A really good experience with the Flooring Centre people. They were patient and helpful with choosing a vinyl floor, and happy to work with out changing requirements. The fitters were friendly and efficient, too, staying late one evening to get the job finished one day early. The floor looks great at the moment; only time will tell how it lasts. But I would highly recommend this company.

Fantastic flooring and installation

We’ve just had the entire ground floor of our house fitted with Karndean LVT and we are thrilled with it. It looks beautiful and is fitted to complete perfection. Dealing with Dennis has been terrific and the workmanship from Hamza and Ali is second to none, I cannot rate them high enough. They have been a delight to have work in our home, top professionals!

We recently bought a new bedroom carpet at the Centre. The service, advice and workmanship was impeccable and communication very prompt all round, which we really appreciated. We received plenty of helpful advice and a small remedial job was done with no fuss and at no extra charge. We are delighted with the result and would certainly recommend the Flooring Centre to friends and family. The carpet and the whole service from Dennis and his fitters exceeded my expectations. I love the carpet. The guys who came could not have been more courteous and conscientious in what was a tricky job, with lots of awkward corners along the stairwell and on the landings. They started by pulling away what was there and cleaning the floorboards meticulously before applying the underlay. I did not take that detail for granted! The fitting is perfect. Great job! Superb service

Upon visiting the store I received a warm welcome and personal service. Dennis was extremely helpful even when I took ages to decide, I had a choice of some gorgeous carpets.
The carpet was installed a few weeks ago without a hitch ! It looks fab, I would definitely use The flooring center again.

Dennis and his extremely good

Dennis and his extremely good fitters did an amazing job. They laid 3 floors of stairs and a bedroom in Sisal Herringbone and it is so tight and neat we were really impressed. There was a tiny manufacturing issue with a lose thread which was replaced no problems – thank you Dennis.

Excellent service 5 star

We bought a house that required extensive new floor coverings. The work needed to be undertaken in stages following decoration, some quickly before we moved in and some after several months. Dennis was excellent. He was pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable. He visited and advised that what we thought was poor quality downstairs flooring was ‘engineered oak’ which I was able to sand and restore. He guided our choice of Karndean to the easier to fit rigid core variety which locks together and has additional sound installation. He had good quality carpet and underlay at reasonable prices. He was able to store carpet for later fitting. The fitters he employed were also pleasant people and they did excellent work, some under time pressure. Thoroughly recommend them.

Thrilled to bits with my

Thrilled to bits with my flooring and my experience with Dennis and Odeon. My laminate floor looks incredible- like real wood. The whole process was so easy from start to finish – and they even managed to squeeze me in before Christmas. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly!

I went to all the big carpet firms initially, but the whole experience was so much better with Dennis. It was overwhelming with the big companies and they couldn’t fit the carpet for ages. Dennis ensured that everything was fitted within the week and that was the whole house. He, and his fitters, were a total pleasure to deal with and the carpet looks fantastic. His prices were better than the big companies and the whole experience was just so much better. Totally recommend.
